Burgers and fries. Pancakes and syrup. Spaghetti and meatballs. Weed and girl scout cookies. Which one of these is not like the other?
The last combination might have seemed confusing, but that is exactly what is going on right now in San Francisco thanks to a business-savvy teenage Girl Scout named Danielle Lei and her ambitious mother. They set up a cookie stand directly outside of The Green Cross medical marijuana clinic and were able to sell 117 boxes in two hours. OF COURSE THEY WOULD! What more would someone that is high on marijuana want than a delicious box of Girl Scout Cookies to satisfy their munchies? It’s just good business.
What is even MORE impressive is that her mother, Carol, decided to use this as an opportunity to teach her daughter about drugs in a way that she will clearly understand. “You put it in terms that they may understand,” she stated in a recent interview shortly before calling herself a “cool parent for a little bit.”
What do YOU think? Is this more helpful than harmful when it comes to 13-year old Danielle and her girl scout cookies? Please share your thoughts!
