Everybody deserves some good time after a long day at work. This norm cuts across the table. What varies, however, is the definition of ‘a good time.’ To some, hanging out with friends and a beer in the local pub down the street is good enough. To others, spending a weekend in one of the most exotic retreat resorts is the only true definition of ‘a good time.’ If you identify with the latter, here are the world’s most expensive hotels that would definitely sit well with your next ‘good time’ plan.
Royal Plaza Suite, Plaza Hotel
You will be in downtown New York and will have to part with $30,000 a night. You will get three self-contained bedrooms, an entertainment area with a piano and movie theatre, a library and finally the picturesque Manhattan skyline.
The apartment at this high-end London hotel will cost you $23,500 a night. Other than paying for the beautiful balcony over London’s most posh area, Mayfair, you will also get a private butler and a chef Helene Darroze special on your platter.
Presidential Suite, Hotel Cala di Volpe
If you happen to visit Italy and want to live like a president for $26,000 a night, then this hotel suite in Porto Cervo is the place to be. You will get an invigorating view from the solarium, a private pool and a fitness area to stretch off the jetlag.
The suite is as exclusive as its $26,385 a night price tag. It occupies the whole top floor of Shangri-La hotel and overlooks the Bosphorus Strait and it has a TV in the bathroom mirror. This is an impressive place to be at when you visit Instanbul.
Presidential Suite, Mandarin Oriental
This is at the heart of Shanghai, China. The fact that it is a 25th floor two bedroom apartment with a wine cellar could explain the $26,450 a night bill. The hotel room has a butler and management says you can enjoy a full 24 hours in it. I wonder how true that is.
Royal Suite, St. Regis Saadiyat
This would be the largest hotel room in United Arab Emirates. You will get a butler, two floors, a mini-theatre, swimming pool, game rooms and a master bedroom overlooking the ocean for just $35,000 a night.
Royal Villa, Grand Resort Lagonissi
At $35,000, you will get two master bedrooms a heated pool, massage area and most importantly a deck overlooking the sea. This is the best Athens has on offer.
