Everyone loves a great prank, especially when it ends up with both people laughing hysterically as soon as they figure out exactly what happened. However, what happens when one epic prank between competitors causes customers to go the other way?
That is the experiment that DHL basically conducted with an epic prank that led to them effectively stealing customers directly from their competitors. Instead of bashing them in commercials or traditional advertisements, DHL forced them to ship packages to their customers that simply stated, “DHL IS FASTER.” This video is hilarious AND insightful all at the same time. Now that they have broken the mold, it is only a matter of time before companies from other industries attempt a similar prank.
