Indiana Pacers’ small forward, Paul George, has officially made his comeback earlier this April in a game against the Miami Heat. This was after intensive treatment and physical rehabilitation that was done to his injured leg which was fractured in 2014.
Though the Pacers may not have made it to the NBA Finals, today, we loo at their star player, a little closer.
The six-foot and nine-inch athlete is Paul Cliftonantho George born on May 2, 1990 in Palmdale, California. His two sisters were also athletes in the field of basketball and volleyball. It was only later in his freshman year in high school that he started playing for the varsity.
Moving on, in his college years, he played for the Fresno State (California State University, Fresno) for two years and in 2010, he went for the NBA Draft. In the same year the Indiana Pacers had drafted him as their tenth player.
Since then, George has gained more popularity in the basketball scene. Being named as the Most Improved Player in 2013, he is now one of the NBA’s finest best perimeter defenders.
