Jack Wilshere: One of Arsenal’s Best

Rumors are Arsenal’s number 10 midfielder, Jack Wilshere is being eyed-on by Manchester City for a transfer. Though Wilshere may be denying of transferring anywhere, still Arsenal fans can’t help but be worried if the player would go somewhere else.

It is no wonder that many football clubs are eyeing on the 23-year old athlete, because this guy has proven to be one of the best football players in Europe.

But before we go any further, we give you some awesome facts about this sought-after English footballer.

1. When he was still nine years old, he joined the Arsenal Academy.

Born Jack Andrew Garry Wilshere,  he started real early with football as a career.

2. He was the youngest Arsenal league debutante ever.

At the age of 16 years and two hundred fifty-six days, he was the youngest ever to be in the Arsenal team.

3. He was the Ireland cover of the video game FIFA 2012.

4. Last year, on November 27, 2014, he injured his left ankle, in a game against Manchester United.

He was advised to rest from the games for three months.

5. He won the  Professional Footballers’ Association Young Player of the Year award for the 2010-2011 season.

This award is given yearly to those players under 23 years old who has been deemed as the best footballer in the season.
