In an effort to join the ranks of such major fast food competitors as McDonald’s and Burger King, Taco Bell has developed a menu of breakfast items that will be sold to their customers.
The official launch of their breakfast menu is scheduled for March 27. The A.M. Crunchwrap along with the Waffle Taco are two of the new menu items that have generated the most buzz since this announcement was made. According to a statement made by Brian Niccol (Taco Bell President), Taco Bell wants to “turn the breakfast conversation into a two-horse race.” Their primary goal is to become the new #2 directly after McDonald’s when it comes to their breakfast menu. Keep in mind that there are other contenders that will also be introducing new breakfast menus in March – including Starbucks who will introduce their new ham, cheese and egg croissant sandwich.
