Mickey Rooney has always been known as a small actor with a large amount of all around talent that has fared well for him in a career within the entertainment industry that lasted more than 90 years before he died on April 6, 2014 at the age of 93.

Over the years, he was known for his work in Judy Garland musicals after skyrocketing to fame as Andy Hardy and remaining in the spotlight for decades on the Broadway stage, television screens and movie  sets. Even as a small toddler, Mickey was an active part of his parents’ vaudeville act which was a stepping stone that led to his movie debt at the age of 10.
